Challenge
With the 2018 implementation of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the horizon, the internationally-focused GlobalGiving faced the imperative of understanding and achieving compliance with the sweeping new data privacy law. As an organization boasting a sizable European donor base, GlobalGiving needed to take the necessary steps to align its data collection and management practices with GDPR standards.
Solution
We educated GlobalGiving about the implications of GDPR for their organization and drafted a privacy policy compliant with the new regulations.
